The Alabama Accountability Act and how it is a no cost way of giving and the new IRS regulations which can actually earn money for some clients since they can receive a tax credit and deduct it as a business expense.
Stephen Bridgers is the new executive director with Scholarships for Kids. Scholarships for Kids is the largest granting organization in Alabama, having granted over $80 million in scholarships through the tax credit contributions. Over 2,000 students across the state are on SFK scholarships at schools across our state. Stephen came to the organization after seven years at Restoration Academy, a partner school of SFK. He lives in Birmingham with his wife Wellon and their four kids.
